- Printing to PS printer (hplj 6mp) or ps file via Windows creates a
file that is sooooooooooooooo big or takes soooooooo long that it is
useless therefore I have to use "Printer File" to create a PS file then
copy this file to the printer to get hard copy. The problem is that
not all the PS Files sent to the printer generate a printed document.

- I get this error from Adobe Distiller when I try to convert a ps file
with custom screens:
___________
%%[ Error: typecheck; OffendingCommand: setcolorscreen ]%%

{--dup-- --mul-- --exch-- --dup-- --mul-- --add-- 1.0 --exch-- --sub--}

If I select default screens the PS file can be distilled

-Draw an outlined box or an outlined closed polygon. It looks good on
screen but when I print to PS Printerfile the shape is missing one of
its sides (ie the polygon looks like it is an open shape

- Small Caps are lost when you Save as PDF.
- All the text after the text that is set Small Caps is converted to
Small Caps when Printed as PrintFile PS file.

Hear, hear.
I use other PS printers (QMS ColorScript 1000), Acrobat PDFWriter,
Acrobat Distiller, even Adobe ones (PPD)!

The same here, but not always.

In the pdf-file can you select text?
If no, than the output is what I did describe to Deron as a bitmap.
