I'm thinking something must be wrong with my setup because no one has reported such a major bug, but I cannot cut&paste either a text block or a picture. When I go back to the previous version it works (also, none of the other previous versions has given me this problem). I'm using WindowsXP in an office environment (i.e., industrial strength virus detectors, etc.)

I'm not sure which version of PGS you are using, but this works in PGS
5.0.4.4 and 5.0.4.44.

Since copy&paste was working for you, I went back and reinstalled pagestream (5.0.4.44pro Windows), but this time I did a clean install (deleted the previous version before installing) and now it works - however, the copy portion is very much slower than it used to be (at least 10x slower than previous versions, as an example a 2.5 meg jpg now takes almost 2 minutes to copy, whereas before it was more like 2 seconds).

Yes, a 3 MB (or meg) copies in one and half minute, pasting is the same
speed as import (fast enough) in PGS 5.0.4.44.
PGS 5.0.4.4 is copying this at 30 seconds, pasting is fast enough.

I also noticed that PGS 5.0.4.44 tries to scale the bitmap, so it fits
on the selected page. Nice!
