In all the versions of PageStream that I have used, on the left hand side of the page there is a tool box, this tool box has a red button in the top right hand corner, there's also an Edit Palette along the bottom of the page with the same red button in the right top corner. If either of these buttons are clicked on, the tool box and edit palette are removed, but how do I get them back? There must be an easy way that I haven't found yet.
Is there any feed back yet on how PageStream is behaving with Windows7?

Window menu -> Show Toolbox (if the toolbox is visible, it will say Hide
Toolbox)

Window menu -> Show Edit Palette (same, if the palette is visible, it
will say Hide Edit Palette)

I may be imagining it, but I'm sure we have all reported Windows 7 as
being fully functional with PageStream. Depending on the version you
use, you may need to add the C:/Windows/Fonts path in the PageStream
font prefs to get PageStream to identify the fonts like in Vista. I
can't recall when that was fixed, but if it is not in the last release
it will be fixed in the next release.

I can add that PGS 5.0.4.4 (and older, but I didn't test that) doesn't
work with Windows 7.
I've added the fonts like Deron said, and PGS crashes on the opening of
a document. And it is all about fonts, because before I added the fonts
the document opens (without text and after I dismissed the Font
substitute screen).
The newer beta's (Windows) work good! What didn't work with 5.0.4.46, is
talked about on this forum (annoying, but can be overcome - like pasting
after copying from illustrations. Text copying and pasting, however,
does work good).

Maybe Deron can give us a new version (without those annoying problems
from 5.0.4.46). But I think he's waiting for releasing a new version
until the Amiga and Mac version are as good as the Windows and Linux
version.

Ah! Older versions don't like it when the default font (as set in the
Type panel of Prefs) doesn't exist. Nothing to do with Windows 7, other
than change in available fonts. Just make sure if using an older version
that you select a default font that exists! This can be confusing,
because if a font doesn't exist, it will still list the font name at the
top of the scrolling list above a divider line. No good solution, but I
avoid the issue in more recent version by not caring if the default font
exists Wink

Of course, could be a different problem you had, but I would be surprised.
