I have uploaded a submission of editing.html which includes the changes requested for puttingtext.html. Please note that the two new screenshots are Amiga and need changing for the Mac versions.

I would like to have a go at Tables, which will also encompass the changes to the Grid/Tables drawing tool in the toolbox section and the edit palette control of both grids and tables. Having played with tables, I have come to the conclusion that the text cells are a subgroup of Text Frames in that the text wraps to the cell margins and indicates an overflow when too much text is input. Since they can only be generated with the Table tool and the properties cannot be changed using text frame features, I don't think they should be referenced from elsewhere in the manual. I intend a brief comment on the limitations of the cells.

Because of the extent of the text and the self contained nature of the text, I think it should be a file on its own with a link from the Toolbox section.

This brings me to the end of the specific changes you listed and that I feel qualified to attempt. The rest of it is for Mac screenshots which I cannot produce and/or is about printing and PDF matters etc. with which I am not really able to deal. Sorry. Is there anything else I could look at?

Does that finish the files you have "checked out"? Are you done with
puttingtext.html? I have some global changes, and then want to upload a new
set before any more work is done.

Nothing to be sorry about! I didn't intend for a single person to do
everything!

I've finished on the submissions, so far. I will put Tables on hold until the new material is available.

BTW, when trying to get the Edit Palette buttons to work, I discovered that shift-Click -does- make multiple selections. In addition, drawing a selection box through some of the cells with the reshape tool also creates a multiple selection. I am amazed at the flexibility that multiple selections can bring.
