Here I prepared some "graphics" in PageStream and saved it as box_test. Then I import box_test and place it in the main file. One can see that in this particular case PageStream performs export to PDF in an wrong way.

Thanks for the simple example. This seems to be a placement bug in the PDF export module once the drawing crosses the vertical page boundary and is exactly placed on its upper vertical border - it affects all platforms, so it is not just MorphOS specific. As soon as the external IFF ILUS drawing is placed e.g. 1mm below on the page - so it is still crossing the page border - it seems to work OK once exported as PDF.
