Hi,
Someone recently asked about the ability to create jump lines (you know, those continued on page xx, continued from page xx lines at the start and end of a linked page). Well, I was toying with different ideas on creating a header/footer and other things. Then it hit me, the easiest is to simply defineda behavior for the current undefined behavior of inserting the first/previous/next/last page number commands in a frameless text object or unrouted columns.
So now if you create a frameless text object, or a small unlinked text frame, and insert a previous page number in it, instead of just getting a -, it will find the nearest linked text frame and use that linked frames next page number. Of course, it one doesn't exist on that page it will still show the -.
New in 5.0.4.16. I've got a Windows version compiling now (I had to add code for the new font popup and multiselect list views and a few other things). Soon as I get it all tested in house I'll be uploading new versions for Windows and Mac. The other good news, is I've got an Amiga running again. Next thing would be a 68k version of PageStream5.
