Hey, just thought I would share some news. First, I got a new Linux release
up last night. For those who have access please download and check it out!
This includes 90% of the work for the new display library which will become
the basis for future releases on other platforms as well. (The only thing
I'm not sure off right now is if I can make it fast enough for the slower
68k Amigas. When I get to that we will probably run a survey to find out
what kind of hardware on the Amiga our customers are now using. Hopefully
it will soon be A1 etc Smile

Also, if some of you may recall, a while back during Earth Day we discussed
(amongst other things) reducing our operating costs and environmental
impact by closing our regular offices and telecommuting. Well, we have
begun that process this month (we are not burning any bridges in case this
doesn't work for us) and have lowered the pricing on most of our products
and simplified our pricing structure. Part of the fun is we are going to
also try and put together some way to IM sales when they are available, and
I am investigating how to do a monthly online chat with me like we used to
do years ago on Genie. Then you can really put my feet to the fire Smile
(Anybody here remember genie?).

The blip from the web site:

July 1st, 2003 - Antigo, WI - GrasshopperLLC today announced new pricing
and a move away from the traditional brick and mortar business towards a
more streamlined and employee friendly telecommuting workplace. "While the
pricing is guaranteed only through July, it is hoped that it will be warmly
embraced by the community and will be adopted as our new permanent pricing.
Our move from a brick and mortar business means lower costs and faster turn
around times. We hope passing these savings on to our customers will not
only increase the already tremendous value our customers get when buying
PageStream, but hopefully increase the number of customers and reach those
who could previously not afford PageStream", owner Marna Holt said today.
Near term plans include a revamped web site in the works, and online chat
with sales with monthly chats with Deron.
